This was good but some of the writing a bit "writing for London theatre". I was the youngest person there by a long way, lol. Bupa prob made a fortune from the standing ovation.

Sadly, this is one of the few central London theatres where the carpets in the bar don't resemble the carpets on a passenger ferry.

Just got rained on there. It was nice for about two minutes but then was too wet, contrary to the lies and disinformation about rain seen regularly on here.
This, from Ronald Reng's Matchdays, ambushed me with unexpected emotions, as they say.
Would be happy to never again see an article about someone choosing to leave London. Or tbh about choosing to come back to it, because so many people did the former there now are too many of the latter.

Thought Obsession was a decent film, bit forcefully bleak but some interesting themes which appear to have been missed in some of... THE INEVITABLE DISCOURSE.
Have become a lot more sympathetic to the idea that people should make stuff in addition to criticising things. Not in a like for like way or because, eg, only a musician can critique music just because there's so many words and opinions all day every day now. Why not spend energy elsewhere?

The fact that people can't write about dance music well is a sustaining force for dance music.

I can't emphasise enough how much this would really have SO much value - there is so much we could do with just conscientious, pragmatic, sensitive, systems thinking approaches to solving people's problems. Even just "better data" has immense value. We have not finished the basics yet!
