Today we went to On Your Marques, a small Lincolnshire museum that houses an incredible collection of model cars. The museum has a sad story, with the owner now too ill to run it. The family decided to open it this weekend for one final time to raise money for dementia charities. #WeirdCarBS

Whenever I go to the British Motor Museum, there always seems to be a car I've never seen before. This #Daimler XJS is part of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. Look at the roof line, C-pillar, and rear window. Very different to a standard XJS. #WeirdCarBS

The folder describes the background to the designs, the need to be able to apply it consistently across the business and shows some of the applications. Even Busby gets a look in. Sadly this bold image lasted only a decade before the often derided "Piper" look of Wolff Olins was introduced.

Another one of MG Rover's "could have beens" currently on display at the British Motor Museum - the #Rover 75 Coupé concept, built to celebrate the company's centenary. It now belongs to a private individual and is on loan to the museum. #WeirdCarBS

A car I did not expect to see at an air-cooled car show, was a #Honda, mostly because I didn't know it existed. The 1300 was the biggest car Honda had made up to that point, and it does indeed have an air-cooled engine. #WeirdCarBS
