Author brethren & sestren, what do you for a hobby? I know I certainly used to write as a hobby, but these days it's definitely a job. I still love it, but it's work. So now card gaming is my main hobby, but I'm curious what others fill their downtime with.

If my Titan Hoppers books have taught me one thing, it's that if you name a character Wave, every word processor in existence will try to a put 'the' before her name EVERY DAMNED TIME! Autocorrect can bugger off and burn.

What are those moments in a book that just make you facepalm? For me, it's when a character cuts their palm to swear an oathe. Of all the places to cut, that's gonna take an age to heal! 🤣

Author brethren and sestren, if you could write for any famous IP what would you pick? Doesn't have to be your favourite world, just something you think you could have fun with. For me, it'd have to be either ALIEN or League of Legends.

I keep seeing posts by folk raging against authors using AI in their advertising. And I'm not about to say it's never earned. But I feel the need to point out that certain social media platforms consistently turn on AI 'options' without informing the advertiser.

My doods, you would not believe how many totally legitimate editors at various publishing houses are suddenly interested in my 8 year old book. And they're all emailing me on the same day! What are the chances?
