I choose to be positive. We’ve had the best years out of Bruno and pretty much doubled our money on him. We needed to learn to play without him anyway. If you can think of anything to add please feel free. #NUFC

The best way for a club like #NUFC to get over a player like Bruno is to recruit the younger cheaper version and show a club like Arsenal, here’s what you could have had for half the price. Not easy of course, but it would be nice if we signed someone who helped us forget him after 6 months!

It’s unlikely we’ll do a ‘Man City’ without bending/breaking the rules, so we’ll always be vulnerable to losing our best player during a transfer window. Ideally we should be signing the replacement a year or two in advance, and maybe we’re shifting towards this strategy, but this one hurts. #NUFC

I think it’s possible to make the positive argument for letting Bruno go & the negative one, and I’ve seen examples of both on here tonight. I’ll miss him, but I’m also thinking it could be a good thing if it allows us to strengthen in more positions. Pressure on RW will intensify to do so. #NUFC

We can announce that Eddie Howe has informed the club of his decision to step down as head coach. The club has accepted Eddie’s decision and would like to thank him for his extraordinary contribution.

I’m off to see The Odyssey tonight. Not the film. The little known documentary following a group of lifelong #NUFC fans evading crushing disappointment and searching for true contentment. Should be interesting.
