NUFC, good beer, and even better whisky.

The best way for a club like #NUFC to get over a player like Bruno is to recruit the younger cheaper version and show a club like Arsenal, here’s what you could have had for half the price. Not easy of course, but it would be nice if we signed someone who helped us forget him after 6 months!

It’s unlikely we’ll do a ‘Man City’ without bending/breaking the rules, so we’ll always be vulnerable to losing our best player during a transfer window. Ideally we should be signing the replacement a year or two in advance, and maybe we’re shifting towards this strategy, but this one hurts. #NUFC

I think it’s possible to make the positive argument for letting Bruno go & the negative one, and I’ve seen examples of both on here tonight. I’ll miss him, but I’m also thinking it could be a good thing if it allows us to strengthen in more positions. Pressure on RW will intensify to do so. #NUFC

Can’t believe how early the Scottish Premier League has started, they must have known the national team wasn’t going to get out of their group at the World Cup.

"That was a negative (Bruno probably leaving ), and right now I need two positives (Jaissle and Hornicek announced), one to cancel out the negative, and another just so I can have a positive." #NUFC

I’m off to see The Odyssey tonight. Not the film. The little known documentary following a group of lifelong #NUFC fans evading crushing disappointment and searching for true contentment. Should be interesting.

Well, it’s been a day. A kind of Keegan is coming back day. A kind of Cole is being sold day. A kind of Shearer is signing day. A kind of the takeover is happening day. A kind of ending a trophy drought day. A day you’ll probably remember kind of day. Tomorrow is another day… #NUFC

I’m not sure many mackems had heard of Regis le Bris and he’s done okay, even if he didn’t start in the Premier League, so I’ll give Matthias Jaissle a chance. Let’s hope he’s an inspired appointment! #NUFC

Remember, the root cause of this is the anti-competitive rules that have prevented #NUFC from keeping their best players and building a team that can compete with the best.

Thank you Eddie Howe for steering us away from relegation, from getting us into the Champions League, twice, and, of course, for leading us to our first domestic trophy in 70 years. #NUFC
