MY FIRST CARS 70 YEARS AG0 I learned to drive at 18 in 1963, but never had a car until 1966, when I got a beat up decade-old Chevy & Ford (Both left on the side of the road). A 3rd car a '60 Chevy got me to New Orleans in 1967, but by 1970 I got a VW for my Hippie trip to Atlanta & San Francisco.
