Kamario Taylor’s arm talent is no joke. Mississippi State has one of the most talented QBs in the country. Definitely on the 2028 NFL Draft radar and a future potential Heisman contender.

Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa looking explosive and healthy in his return for Notre Dame. One of the best linebackers in the country and at his best coming downhill. Viliamu-Asa had 25 run stops and 23 pressures last season.

Dante Moore coming out hot in the second half with some sick ball placement, especially on this TD throw. Moore was the only QB in the country last season with an 80% adjusted completion percentage and over 6% big-time throw rate.

Not sure any DB gets downhill with as much ferocity as Notre Dame’s Adon Shuler. Runs the alley with the best of them. Shuler had three huge run stops last week against Wisconsin, too.

Drew Mestemaker is playing up to the first round buzz today. Perfect throw to Wyatt Young while taking a shot. He’s torching Oregon. Mestemaker was Top 20 in big-time throws last season at North Texas (24).

Rocky Beers has been one of Oklahoma’s best players today. The athleticism has really popped. At Colorado State last season, his quarterbacks had a 147.7 NFL QB rating when targeting him.

Oregon cannot stop Oklahoma State’s offense at all. Drew Mestemaker drops it right into Wyatt Young’s bucket on the flea flicker. Mestemaker was Top 20 in the country in adjusted completion percentage last season at North Texas (77.5%).

Eric Morris, Drew Mestamaker, and Co. looking a lot more like they did last year at North Texas. Aside from the pick six, the Pokes are torching Oregon’s defense. Not sure where this was last week against Tulsa, but the Oklahoma State Mean Green are here now

Doesn’t get any easier than this for Nick Marsh. Excited to see him against better competition and how Indiana will use him. Fun skill set at 6’3 with serious YAC ability. Marsh was third nationally in forced missed tackles on receptions last season at MSU (28).

Oklahoma State was on its way to a second straight scoring drive to open the game against Oregon and then the Ducks got a game-changing pick six from Devon Jackson off the tip from D’Antre Robinson. Games off to a crazy start in Stillwater.

Charlie Becker with his third TD of the first half and his fifth in less than a game and a half. The Indiana star has a shot to be a Top 10 pick. He wasn’t even starting until the back half of the season in 2025 but finished Top 10 in the country in yards/route run (3.41)

Reed Harris was a super fun addition by Kenny Dillingham at Arizona State. Big weapon at 6’5 with some of the top ball skills in the country. Harris had a 0% drop rate at Boston College last season.

DJ Hicks (#5) could be Texas A&M’s X-factor this season. Twitched up, high-energy defensive tackle who can be a big-time backfield penetrator. Hicks is a former five-star recruit.

Charlie Becker’s knack for winning 50/50 ball is so impressive. The best contested catch receiver in the country. The projected first-round pick has a career 78.9% contested catch rate at Indiana.

My Week 2 college football watch schedule

Ted Cruz on College Gameday talking the Protect College Sports Act and he’s being booed so loudly by the Texas crowd you can barely hear him. The “Ted you suck” chant was louder than him

KJ Duff doing KJ Duff things to keep Rutgers in it tonight. One of the biggest mismatches in college football with his size (6’6, 225) and fluidity. Duff already has over 320 receiving yards and 5 TDs this season.

Missouri’s Austin Simmons has been showcasing his arm talent in the Border War. The ball just jumps out of his hand. Did a nice job holding the safety with his eyes, too. Can see the blue chip talent that had Lane Kiffin starting him over Trinidad Chambliss early last season.

Nik McMillan was such an underrated portal add by Kansas. Lance Leipold knows all about the MAC and brought McMillan in from Buffalo where he was one of the best big-play WRs in the G6. At Buffalo last season, McMillan was sixth in the country in contested catches (17).

Antwan Raymond has been one of the few bright spots tonight for Rutgers. Has consistently broken first contact as a runner and makes a great grab here for six. The Canadian was fifth nationally in forced missed tackles last season (76).

Leroy Harris III is playing out of his mind for Kansas in the Border War. Blocks the field goal here to put points on the board for the Jayhawks. Saw the flashes last year when he led Kansas in pressures as a rotational player (20). He’s a Sunday player.

Greg Schiano’s second stint at Rutgers has run its course. This offense has two NFL-level playmakers and can’t move the ball. The defense is nonexistent against BOSTON COLLEGE. Shaping up to be the fifth losing season in the last seven years. Time to cut ties.
