Iowa State Auditor, father, bowhunter, former prosecutor, pizza auditor. Running to be Iowa's next Governor. Public servant, not a politician.

Anyone building in Iowa should be contributing, not extracting from it. That's why my data centers plan calls for no more tax breaks to these major corporations. And when it comes to our natural resources & utilities, they need to be responsible for those, too. https://bit.ly/4q1ryWA

My Plan to Hold Big Corporations and Data Centers Accountable | Rob Sand for Iowa

Rob Sand for Iowa Governor. Rob is only beholden to the people of Iowa, and Rob stands up for what's right, even when it's hard.

When it comes to data centers, they should be carrying their own weight, not raising Iowans' costs for anything, & should respect the communities they want to move to. Bottom line - anything built in Iowa should be contributing to Iowa, not extracting from us. https://bit.ly/4hNhEFJ

For 10 years, insiders have distracted us with division & culture wars because that way, they can keep picking our pockets. I’m thankful for Iowans like Mace, and so many others, who are tired of the direction politics is going. It's time for change.

It’s 5:35PM at your local Casey’s. Are you taking the pepperoni slice or the beef slice that’s an hour and a half past its “best by” time? I took the beef bc 1 yum and 2 hate to see anything go to waste.

A close-up of two slices of pizza on a metal rack. The top slice is labeled "Pepperoni" with an expiration time of 06:02 pm. The bottom slice is labeled "Beef" with an expiration time of 03:57 pm.

I handed the microphone to a Republican activist because I believe we have to listen to each other. I shared in my answer to his question the pain of our miscarriage. My opponent edited our personal pain down to a sentence to exploit & misrepresent. That's not leadership, that's politics.

This past weekend, Team Sand knocked doors in ALL 99 counties. Thank you to everyone who braved the heat & are working hard towards an Iowa that isn't redder or bluer, but better & truer.

From investments in water quality monitors & radon detection, to tax credits for conservation programs, to encouraging healthier lifestyles, we have the tools to solve the cancer crisis in Iowa. We just need a governor with the willingness to take it on.

Insiders are shipping more & more jobs to out-of-state companies, leaving our families behind. Iowans deserve a governor that'll stand up for workers and give the next generation more opportunities to reach the American dream.

Study after study has linked social media use among children to higher rates of anxiety, depression, & sleep loss. Iowa kids should be busy learning, playing, and enjoying Iowa’s great outdoors — not being targeted by algorithms designed to keep kids scrolling. https://bit.ly/4gZKlPA

Nothing is more important than keeping our kids safe, and nowadays that means keeping them safe online. That’s why I’m releasing a plan that increases punishments for online predators, bans surveillance advertising, and holds Big Tech companies accountable for profiting off of our kids.

This is about integrity. I don't care who is asking - if it's not the right thing to do, I'm gonna say no. I'm happy to stand up to powerful people in order to do what's right for Iowa families.

We host town halls in every county, every year. And yes, that sometimes means we're in the same place where you play bingo. Public service never stops, even for bingo.
