Badenoch promised no reshuffle before the election, then did one anyway. Says a lot about how confident she’s feeling now. Sacking some big names is a bold power move, but when you’re lagging behind Labour and Reform in the polls, I suppose there’s not much left to lose.

Love this. We simply haven’t done enough to tackle homelessness in this country. I said in a previous post, it’s utterly shameful that we have 382,000 homeless people in England, while more than a million homes sit empty.

How has Andy Burnham not stopped the boats, cut taxes, solved the cost-of-living crisis, built more council houses, ended water pollution, cut energy bills and solved homelessness yet? He’s been our Prime Minister for 22 days. He needs to pull his finger out.
Farage will obviously win this by-election and he’ll present it as a major victory. But in reality, it’s been a complete waste of time and money. The investigation into his finances isn’t going away, he’ll be in exactly the same position as before.

Alex Cochrane is underrated. Played virtually every game in that League One season and was one of the most consistent performers. Needed time to adjust to the Champ and then missed a spell through injury, but his ball delivery is good and he’s reliable defensively. #BCFC
