Badenoch promised no reshuffle before the election, then did one anyway. Says a lot about how confident she’s feeling now. Sacking some big names is a bold power move, but when you’re lagging behind Labour and Reform in the polls, I suppose there’s not much left to lose.

Hate is on trend, Bouncing around the parrot cages, Sinking down the hole that never ends, As you sit with that look in your eye, Like I could never know, The many things that motivate you, Many ways you change the world below, As you speak with that look in your eye.
The government and the water companies should know by now that the quickest way to end a drought in the UK is to schedule an England test match. Works every time.
Love this. We simply haven’t done enough to tackle homelessness in this country. I said in a previous post, it’s utterly shameful that we have 382,000 homeless people in England, while more than a million homes sit empty.
🚨 New 🚨 Every Rough Sleeper is to be offered • accommodation • health support • Practical support As part of a £442 million package by Christmas.
Not pretty but solid and organised. Lacking that bit of quality but can’t turn your nose up at two clean sheets away from home. Happy with that, onto next week. #BCFC
Less than 10 mins into our season and I was already convinced there’s a refereeing conspiracy against August Priske. #BCFC
Farage should put a bin over his head, make the world a much better place.
Only Nigel Farage could win a by-election against a man with a bin on his head and declare it a glorious victory against the establishment. He’s beyond parody at this point.
Most of freedom and of pleasure, Nothing ever lasts forever, Everybody wants to rule the world.
Loved this interview with Razorlight. They were one of the soundtracks of my youth.

How has Andy Burnham not stopped the boats, cut taxes, solved the cost-of-living crisis, built more council houses, ended water pollution, cut energy bills and solved homelessness yet? He’s been our Prime Minister for 22 days. He needs to pull his finger out.
Farage will obviously win this by-election and he’ll present it as a major victory. But in reality, it’s been a complete waste of time and money. The investigation into his finances isn’t going away, he’ll be in exactly the same position as before.
I fully support political shithousery like this.

Football isn’t yours to sell you bald, corrupt little thundercunt. Go fuck yourself.
Infantino has faced widespread backlash for a now-scrapped plan to sell a portion of the World Cup to private investors.
Brighton & Hove Albion have shared a post on Twitter wishing everyone celebrating pride an amazing weekend. The fact that they’ve had to turn off replies shows just how far we still have to go.
Apparently my weekend now involves blackberry picking with the little people.
Alex Cochrane is underrated. Played virtually every game in that League One season and was one of the most consistent performers. Needed time to adjust to the Champ and then missed a spell through injury, but his ball delivery is good and he’s reliable defensively. #BCFC
