Writer of the weird and fantastic with stories in Realms of Fantasy, Polyphony, Strange New Worlds, Heliotrope, Fiction River, & Pulphouse Fiction Magazine. https://www.robvagle.com Lives in Arizona. Former Oregonian. Born and raised in Minnesota.

Dispatch From The Other Side originally appeared in The Golden Door edited by Jamie Ferguson. My story involves a mysterious and infamous postcard and a young protagonist who lost his family crossing the southern border when he was just a baby. There's a slight science fiction element to it.

I think studios should be more patient with woman-led properties especially where superheroes are concerned. Trolls poisoning the well are causing distress but are mostly an overly-loud subgroup not representive of the movie going audience. Women can and should be allowed to be superheroes.

"Uncomfortable Shoes" is a short story originally published in Pulphouse. Wanted to write about a shoeshine stand with a shoeshiner who can see a customer's future. Got that plus a romance. I choose to believe the shoeshiner made the right choice in the end and everything worked out all right.

This week's short story is Machine In The Ghost. A story created by reversing the first and last words in the phrase "ghost in the machine." What came out is a weird science fiction story with ghosts and the inexplicable. Originally published in Pulphouse several years ago. books2read.com/u/4AqVBK

This week's short story I found perfect and wonderful art. Dog Steps was originally published in Pulphouse. Dog is written in the spirit of the television show, The Littlest Hobo, and other literature classics featuring dogs. But, rest assured, it is NOT like Old Yeller. books2read.com/u/38onga

This week's short story is Lending The Truth. It's the flipside of Knowledge Blooms, which I published a few weeks ago. Pure fantasy about those little lending libraries, light and hopeful. Lending The Truth has a little lending library, but this one is haunted. books2read.com/u/m0yr6l
