This new phase builds on earlier work completed in 2016 and 2021. So far, Rochester has created 25 miles of routes. This phase will add about 15 more miles! www.cityofrochester.gov/departments/...

RG&E has an upcoming activity that will require a continuous 24-hr nbridge closure starting 7am Monday, Aug 10th and reopening 5pm Friday Aug 14th. A crane will be lifting equipment & materials on the bridge. mcnygenealogy.com/pictures/550...

"Duffy’s choice to include this language could also simply be political messaging for a base that hates bike lanes" Except Trump voters support bike lanes - a 2025 YouGov survey found that 64% of Trump voters strongly or somewhat support bike lanes in their local area

Congress has provided funding for bicycle lanes - and other bicycle and pedestrian improvements - since 1991 Every year states receive more applications for that funding than can be funded People across the nation and the political spectrum support bike lanes
The administration has sent a letter to Congress about its priorities for the next transportation bill It continues their campaign against bike lanes and urges "Congress to restrict competitive and formula grant funding for bicycle lanes and other bicycle infrastructure"
