After four days of bruteforcing and spending over $900, the FULL version of FFVII Dirge of Cerberus Lost Episode has been preserved by @yuvi.app! The game's SD card data, which it fully relies on, remained encrypted until now. Despite being 9MB, the game contains cutscenes and voice acting.

Keitai Archive has uploaded its collection of i-mode ringtones to the Internet Archive, which include a few ringtones officially distributed by #Nintendo! These were likely lost to time until now. There are also a lot of great fanmade ringtone arrangements of game/anime songs.

Rozen Maiden ~Fräulein Rose~ (ローゼンメイデン~薔薇乙女~) was preserved by SPC! This is a visual-novel adaptation of the #RozenMaiden anime series, exclusively released for keitai in 2005. There were 10 episodes in total; our copy is the first episode.

It saddens me that Before Crisis's story is being added right before Ever Crisis's EOS, it deserves more time to be experienced. The original Before Crisis's keitai servers lasted for 14 years, with chapters being released nearly monthly for three years. The preservation effort continues... (1/2)

User SPC preserved HA-CO, a previously-lost #Konami puzzle game made exclusively for keitai! Released in 2004, you push boxes and avoid enemies to reach the stage's goal in as few steps as possible. There are 100 stages total. There's also a model viewer for character models!

Tales of Quiz (テイルズ オブ クイズ) and Tales of Wonder Casino (テイルズ オブ ワンダーカジノ) were preserved by an anonymous user! Our copy of Quiz contains quizzes about Tales of Phantasia, Destiny 2, and Abyss. Wonder Casino has a variety of Tales-themed casino minigames. See my reply below for Quiz's gameplay!

Tales of Wahrheit was partially preserved by an anonymous user! This game heavily relied on server data, so you can only load into the existing save files, and the amount of playable data is pretty small. Nonetheless, it's great that some parts remain playable.

Alcohol, Souvenirs, and My Insufferable Wife (酒と土産と鬼嫁と私) is a humorous keitai game that was preserved a while back. The goal is to collect presents while avoiding alcohol. Consuming alcohol increases your drunkenness meter, and once you get too drunk, it's game over...

A new partial copy of Before Crisis FFVII was preserved by NaoyaShinota! This copy contains Turk data for Cissnei, as well as a battle map and sprites for Weapon D Mode (postgame superboss mode). Now we preserved four Turks: Rod, Gun (Male), Nunchuck, and Shuriken (aka Cissnei).

User MeaxyKusama has connected an i-mode keitai to their homebrew phone network, Mizuki Mobile! This allows them to connect to i-mode webpages and download i-appli. This opens up the possibility of playing i-mode games on a wider range of original hardware, including multiplayer games!

Gameplay of Galaga Kai, a keitai game that was preserved last year! Its Arrange Mode features stages and boss battles based on #Namco properties. You can see quite a few in this video, including a Mappy boss! Thanks to the OpenDoja reimplementation, this game now runs with no performance issues.

Clarisse la Sorcière (魔法使いクラリス) was preserved by WN3DL! Released in 2002 by G-MODE for i-mode keitai, this is an isometric shooter starring a sorceress on a broomstick. Survive for as long as possible and aim for an A rank!

ICYMI, @yuvi.app released ReMEXA, an SDK reimplementation for J-PHONE, Vodafone, and SoftBank keitai games! These were competitors to i-mode games. They're finally accessible on Windows, Linux, and Mac. See my video for some featured games! An Android version is in the works too, so stay tuned...

Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side Puzzle-Dama (ときめきメモリアル Girl's Side ぱずるだま) was preserved last year! This was a keitai-exclusive Taisen Puzzle-Dama spinoff. You can choose 14 different attack patterns, and winning 10 matches in a row gives you a wallpaper image.

Footage of Yumeria Chibi (ゆめりあちび), a 3D i-mode application based on Namco's PS2 game, Yumeria. Released in 2004, the application lets you view five characters from the game, akin to a 3D model viewer. It was preserved about two years ago.

Gameplay of Banchō Table Tennis (番長卓球), a preserved i-mode game. It's a table tennis game based on the Osu! Banchō series of pachislot games. As such, it features slot machine and quick time event mechanics. The music is also quite good!

Keitai World Launcher now includes a "903iHP" sound setting for the DoJa/Star SDK's emulator! With this setting, you get more accurate 903i audio without the performance hit. Audio stuttering has also been greatly reduced! It only occurs if the game drops frames. See my video to hear the difference!

A preloaded trial version of Darius Wide was preserved by WN3DL and Cuebus! This was a keitai port of Darius for devices that supported horizontal screen orientations. This copy was preloaded on the 920SH, which was a Yahoo Keitai (SoftBank) device. (Gameplay credit to Leonierx)

Last year, the Aegis and Teddie machi-chara was preserved! Machi-charas were home screen avatars on DoCoMo keitai. They walk around the screen, offering assistance or playing cute animations. For instance, Aegis and Teddie would let you know if you got new mail!

Happy one year anniversary to the Rockman DASH 5 Islands English patch! Lost to time until 2024, this game nails the Mega Man Legends series' style and character writing. If you want to experience one more adventure with the Legends cast, I encourage you to check it out!

A partial copy of Tekken 2's i-mode port was preserved by @yuvi.app! Released in 2006, our copy appears to have been tailored to Sony Ericsson i-mode keitai. It relied on SD card data that we don't have, so only simple mode is playable.

The original i-mode release of Bomberman Kart Special was preserved by SJ2 and Cuebus! You can play as six characters and race on six tracks. This was released internationally in 2006, but the original keitai version was lost to time until today.
