I love getting regular full size truck milage with my Cayenne. Only difference is I’m towing 6500lbs through the mountains.

Test last week didn’t work. Air intake temps were sky high, I just can’t find a way to make a top mount work at 400hp. So back to front mount and a HUGE hole cut out of the bumper. Just completed the new ducting.
Did my own race car alignment today at a buddies’ shop. Testing tomorrow.
Took the car for a test drive yesterday, and it was doing brilliantly. I did a hard pull, heard a loud bang and lost all forward gears. I thought I blew the trans. I managed to get it in 3rd and limped it home. Luckily, after some inspection, it was just a roll pin missing in the shifter linkage.
Hood wrapped. Took longer than I anticipated. Just need to drill holes for the hood vents and latches, and it’ll be done.
New (to me) hood sanded to get all the chips out, then started vinyl wrapping it. Almost done.
Busy last few days. Got the crash bar fabricated, along with finishing up the front ducting, complete with a repurposed intercooler water sprayer mounted to spray the oil cooler.
Turned out pretty damn good to me. Tomorrow I wrap the wing in some colors.

Got the wing all welded up yesterday. And today the mount was painted. Tomorrow I should be able to do final assembly.
Entering RIF season at work and not happy about it. I’ve survived 7 so far, hopefully I can continue the streak.
Test fitting the wing mounts. Think it’s going to work.
Methinks I need a new character, but the big question is what species? Deer? Elk? Another dog?
Sometimes I get frustrated with the cost of living here, then I take a bike ride 10 minutes from my house and go “oh right, that’s why”

The new #Starfox game is pretty damn good so far. The graphics and cinematics looks great!
Needed to rescue a buddy 80 miles away, across two mountain passes. Pretty drive.
