I just feel gutted: - SCOTUS obliterates the VRA - LA, AL, TN, FL all immediately and aggressively gerrymander Democrats out of contention -VA’s map favoring Democrats is struck down They’re determined to steal the election before it even happens, and SCOTUS is in on it. It feels hopeless.
Just got home from an extended road trip showing off #NewMexico to first-time visitors from the East Coast. Oddly, I was content to mostly just take in the beauty of our state without taking may pics, but here are a few I did take. I love living here! Our visitors loved it too. ❤️

Kind of caught by surprise at how today’s SCOTUS decision regarding conversion therapy hit me like a ton of bricks. I’m way past the point of it affecting my life personally, but it makes me so sad for younger LGBTQ folks. And sad that we live in such an uncaring - or outright hostile - country.
That certainly challenges assumptions.
Acyn@acyn.bsky.social · 5mo agoRFK JR: One time, Trump grabbed a placemat, turned it over, took a Sharpie, and drew a perfect map of the Middle East. Then he marked the troop strength of every country along each border on that map. It challenged a lot of the assumptions I had been told about him.
