With the incredibly hot start that Jonah Cox is off to, seems like a good time to talk with him about what's driving these improvements. I talked with him about swinging with more intent and the strong approach he's had this year.
RHP Darien Smith and LHP Charlie McDaniel were named Pitchers of the Month of April for the Eastern League and NorthWest League respectively. Smith went 4-0 with a 1.08 ERA over 25.0 innings. McDaniel had an equally microscopic ERA of 1.10 over 17.1 IP -- he's since lowered that to 0.87.

Scott Bandura just hit a 2-0 slider into oblivion. Including Spring Breakout, I’ve seen him play about 12 total innings this spring and he’s crushed two HR, hit a 113 mph double off the top of CF wall, and ripped a triple off 96 mph fb. Bandy Breakout coming.
