I get it, but I'm always amused when an acquaintance assumes that I root for England because I primarily watch and follow the English Premier League. No, I actively root against them because I love the EPL. Furthermore, there is no reality where I want Jordan Pickford to succeed, among others.

On memorial day I think of my Uncle Charlie who died two years before my mom was born. He left the hell of being a coal miner in WV to die in hell, the Chosin Reservoir of NK in 1950 at 19.
