Before LLMs, ideas sat as ideas in the headspace longer. There was an implied selection bias based on the underneath urge to make progress on the ones that really mattered. Now I have half-baked repos where most of them would never see the light of the day.
My most bullish population-scale use case for AI is that more individuals shed their hard-wired siloed work identities as engineer or designer or marketer, weaken their attachment to specific tools, and unlock their genuine commitment to solve real world problems using the AI-enabled affordances.

TIL if you use your Obsidian Vault in Cursor, the tool creates embeddings for your files for semantic search by default. You can manually add/exclude from the index as well. The barrier to adopting Zettelkasten or a similar note-taking method has dropped significantly.
