My experience painting minis outside so far: Morning: Morning dew on bench. Not hot yet. Sleepy. All kinds of little critters and song birds. Morning coffee. Soft lighting. Noon: Starting to get warm. Ample lighting. Afternoon: Too hot, find shade and take a nap. Evening: no light, very buggy.
