just because something is a norm/well-used trope in romcoms doesn't mean you HAVE to use it. write what you enjoy so that you're actually invested in your story. even if it feels contrived and silly! I realised if I'm not enjoying writing it, it's just going to languish in my drafts. #RomComMarch

Sometimes, a side character can steal every scene they’re in, making us wish they had their own novel (or giving us inspiration for a sequel!). Who’s your favourite side character, and did they/will they get their own happy ending? #RomComMarch

Where is your rom-com set and why? What’s your favorite setting — a city, a small town, somewhere you’ve lived, or a vacation destination? Is your setting a dreamy backdrop or almost a character? #RomComMarch

If you could spend a day with any rom-com character, who would it be? One of your own creations, or the steamy cinnamon roll from your favorite series? What about them is so hot? Or if it’s just-friends vibes, why them? #RomComMarch
