Here we go again... Storm blew through from 2am to 6am. Power is out everywhere in the mountains.
Given the state of things, I decided to have an MMR Immunity Test. The results are in: "Negative - Low Measles Antibodies." I'm 62 and had the single measles vax as a kid. I'll be talking with my doc today, but I know what I'm going to do. Rubella is Immune and Mumps shows off-the-chart Immune.
Our power is out. Generator is running. I'm having slight Helene PTSD (no power for 2 weeks, no water for 3 weeks). Six minutes before it went out I got this email from Duke Energy:
