I created some flower vases recently. This corner section of my desk has been serving as my playground for design. I made almost everything with a mix of clay, wood, and 3D printing. Interestingly, I’ve now found I want to bridge the gap between my tastes in art and design. #design #art #diycrafts

My copy of Designing Imaginative Environments by @nathanfowkes.com arrived. I ordered a couple of art books this year, but this one was my most anticipated. It’s dense and exactly what I’ve been looking for to assist in my worldbuilding project.

I finally acquired some of Kunio Kato’s work. I got The Diary of Tortov Roddle and House of Small Cubes DVDs (also the book). His soft colors and wistful storytelling has inspired me for years. The little I know about him has only been thanks to the wonderful writings by @ani-obsessive.bsky.social
