Fairplay to the Galway women for winning the All Ireland today! Its a shame they hold it on a bank holiday.

Another late night recording the podcast. There has to be a better way to do this!?
BYOD promised flexibility, but IT had to weigh it against security and control. With Cloudpager, employees authenticate with Entra ID on an unmanaged Windows device and their apps virtualize as encrypted Cloudpaging containers. @rorymon.com n builds a full workspace in minutes.
Thanking the opponents and thanking the referees is a nice touch. Thanking Elverys...meh. The earlier thanking of Centra etc. is a bit 🥴 I get it but when there is such a big deal about it being amateur, leave the money interests to the side. They get enough advertising out of their sponsorships.
They did it! They actually did it. Now we can stop with the stupid curse talk.
C'mon Mayo! 🟩🟥
Abandon all hope Mayo! If you can't beat them bate them! Switch to Armagh style play.
They managed to make Croke Park's playing surface fairly nice considering there was a hosepipe ban all week. Meanwhile, Pearse Stadium yesterday ⬇️ Still would rather water used for the pitches rather than Meta's DC.
"A celebration of Irish culture" as they show a big Harvey Norman logo on the screen. GAA gonna GAA!
One of the most important archaeological excavations in the history of the state. I hope the team continue to be given all the resources and supports they need. Both in terms of the excavation and scientific analysis, and also in terms of their wellbeing afterwards. This is not easy work.
Tuam excavation team says almost 100 individual remains uncovered so far

Bring back the overcast dreary days!
Valentia weather station in Kerry has hit over 25c again today making it 5 days in a row and a heatwave there. What is most interesting is that according to @sryanbruen.bsky.social who is great for stats. This is the first ever heatwave recorded at that station with stats back to 1860!
Missing prerequisites quietly break app deployments: a user opens the app they came for, a dependency was never delivered, and out comes an error and a support ticket. We've now extended Cloudpager's App Dependencies to Cloudpager Storefronts, shown off here by @rorymon.com
Unfortunately, there are audio issues in the latest episode of the podcast. Its not completely awful but there is random crackling at times until the 19th minute. I don't have the time or energy to re-do it so I will leave it out in the ether & do better next week. www.youtube.com/watch?v=IOEX...

I like a good underdog story but Paraguay's shithousery is off the charts. France deserve the lead.
Patch speed isn't a security awareness problem, it's a packaging capacity problem. 48,000+ CVEs in 2025, exploits within hours, yet legacy pipelines take days to patch. @rorymon.com talks how Cloudpager's AI Packaging closes the gap, apps encrypted and visible only to entitled users.

Packaging is a one time cost. Instability after deployment is a recurring one. Traditional installers modify the OS in place, updates fail or conflict, and support overhead mounts. @rorymon.com walks through where the real cost lives and what containerization does to that picture.
Been on strong meds all year. I was struggling through Catch 22, it was too complicated for my brain in its current state so I bought shorter books to read. I read Small Things Like These in its entirety this weekend (110 pages). Difficult subject matter but the easiest read of my life. Read it📚
