We cannot just push whatever the LLM spits out: bad code calls bad code, make sure yours is GOOD before feeding it to "the machine"

Remember: you don't choose #SoftwareArchitrcture to look smart, you choose it to sleep well.
It's happening to me (i don't "hand code" nearly as much), but I still need to steer agents a lot to provide an initial skeleton of testing setup and helpers so they have good examples to reproduce, otherwise the write really weird stuff 😅
Coding is dead! Well maybe... the job of a software developer is certainly changing really fast at the moment due to AI tools. This is all very exciting and worrying at the same time. I just wrote this article about what TDD looks like in this new age: coding-is-like-cooking.info/2026/03/test...
Yeah, sure, AI has made great strides and can be made to do some really cool things. But at what cost? No, I mean literally. How much is it really going to cost? ardalis.com/ai-benefits-... #AI
AI Benefits - But at What Cost?
In 2026 we can all agree that AI and agentic development are certainly exciting topics which many see yielding great productivity gains. But as the investor-subsidized pricing of these services gives ...

I'm pretty much defaulting to F# for my domain code nowadays, C# is still less friction for infra, but once you get used to the ergonomics of F# to describe business rules, it's difficult to go back.
try F# today folks, it comes for free within #dotnet sdk !Super easy to get started in vscode with Ionide extension or VS/rider , it’s the .NET ocaml great interop with C# in the same solution, use all the nuget packages you already know and love 💕 has scripting .fsx and REPL baked in
I just completed both Getring Started and Deep Dive Event Sourcing in .NET courses by @hanneslowette.net . Great resource! Thanks a lot! I would love to pick your brain about a hybrid F#/C# project I'm working on!
Hello, friends! After 10(!) years of #AdventOfCode, I've made some changes to preserve my sanity: there will be 12 days of puzzles each December (still starting Dec 1) and there is no longer a global leaderboard. Read more: adventofcode.com/2025/about#f... adventofcode.com/2025/about#f...

Hello @emilybache.com, I'm a bit confused by the Conjured Mana Cake: in the acceptance tests it acts like a normal item: quality decreases by 1 per day. Shouldn't it be double? The test would not pass initially tho, only after implementing the conjured item logic... #gildedrose #fsharp
