The amount of working artists I've spoken to who are losing or have lost the ability to make a viable career out of it due largely to people's use of genAI instead of hiring artists is genuinely so upsetting. We won't know what we've lost until it's gone.

Life is precious and time will not stop. This is why you need to do what you love and cherish the ones you care about now. Not later. NOW. We humans live about 80-90 years. Many aren’t even close to that limit. Why are you hesitating? Stop waiting. Grab your joy.

Republicans love to complain about the nanny state but there’s no blue state that is as full of snowflake restrictions on personal freedoms as Texas. A state run by prudish hall monitors whose idea of freedom stops at how many guns you can buy and brandish in public.
