The RPG Librarian!

@rpg-librarian.bsky.social

I am a librarian and 40+ year RPG veteran. I have run RPGs as teen programming for over 20 years, with a Judges' Spotlight ENNIE under my belt and a love for bringing new players into the fold.

Appreciating Layout Despite academic training, four decades plus of TTRPG gaming, and being a lifelong reader and librarian, I have only recently become aware of how much layout and graphic design affect both my reading experience and my willingness to even try running any given RPG.

Not sure if any other solo RPG players/designers will see these words, but if you're experienced with solo RPGs, and if you read this post, I'd welcome some friendly and constructive comments/pointers. Moving on ... I've discovered something I didn't expect, and it was an abrupt realization.

Just played my first game of Colostle (my third solo RPG experience), and had quite a lot of fun. I am absolutely enchanted by the art style, which (in my utterly inexpert and very personal opinion) has a Ghibliesque mechanical fantasy vibe. I will definitely return to this world! www.colostle.com

Colostle - A Solo RPG Adventure

An exciting solo RPG where you explore a castle so huge it has mountains, valleys and oceans within its rooms!
