Hot take: I think remakes should be reserved for concepts that were actually missing the technology to be made properly. Not for people in the West who only want white people on their screen, or classics that are already perfect to be wrung through the capitalist machine again but done badly

Other Mummy being an “interpretation” of the book Incidents Around The House (based on the trailer and articles) instead of an adaptation is giving the same energy as Nolan ‘interpreting’ The Odyssey. Just saying…..
