I've never been a huge fan of flash fiction. If I like the concept why drop it after 1000 words or less? It just feels like shooting your load too early. Why not save that scene for a larger story? Why not develop it more? Let them earn that climax and payoff, it'll feel so much better.
We have words for the smell of the earth after it rains but we have no smell for sleeping on the floor on a late-summer night, sniffing the air through the window as the pines rustle and the world turns slowly.
I go back and forth a lot on how fat I am. Only 250lbs which is a lot for some people, but like, my belly only sticks out a little at the gym. But then I see my own side profile and damn I'm well padded. I should just go for it and hit 300lbs just because.

It's both shocking and a bit scary that 95% of furry writing solely exists on Furaffinity. Deviantart used to not be shit, other furry sites didn't suck that much and or weren't suspicious. Losing FA would be like burning the Library of Alexandria.

I try to use metric units in my writing because they're more worldwide and more people understand them, but damn kilograms do not have as much raw sex appeal as pounds. And I'm standing by that.

Watched the second episode of a show today cause the first was super good. Instead they interupted the episode three times so the main character could sing on a hill before she went back to blindfolding and waterboarding a child which was an odd tonal shift.
Realizing you have a kink only because you noticed you write it so much is a weird experience.
