I don't understand the need for all these datacenters to begin with. Spend all that money and resources on building LLMs that don't need all those datacenters.

I have wasted my entire weekend on chatgpt either being incredibly unstable/unusable to creating an over-engineered mess I didn't ask for awesome

When a caterpillar turns into a chrysalis, it's whole body becomes soup for the imaginal discs to build a butterfly/moth. Before then, the imaginal discs are actually under constant attack by the caterpillar's immune system. So I'm wondering, did these actually start out as parasites?

My favorite feature of the latest chatgpt model is when it spends hours working on something that I didn't ask it to yet, then decides to not provide a zip of the finished work because of some trivial formatting issue it encountered, then reset its sandbox so I end up with nothing. 👍
Has anybody else noticed the reasoning skills having degraded in chatgpt's model 5.5 recently? I feel like it's taking shortcuts and I'm spending a lot more time than usual correcting it.
I just want to point out that at the end of Big Hero 6, the original Baymax fired his fist which had his personality cartridge ... Which then left Baymax stuck in the pocket dimension without his nice personality, just the fighting one So to this day there is an angry aggressive Baymax stuck there
They should make processors where the die follows a circular path instead of all straight lines and ninety degree angles It's just concentric circle shapes from the edge all the way to the center
Lot of hate for yaml in this thread, I always thought it was much cleaner to setup configurations with it compared to xml and json but maybe I'm just weird?

Not sure I like this Pro model. It is extra slow and the extra thinking seems to make more mistakes than avoid.
There is this really weird glitch in chatgpt right now that is increasingly showing up: It gives me a full response to a previous prompt and ignores the current prompt. Going to call this glitch "AI Deja Vu".
Used up my codex limits for the week and really need to finish a project, so I bought the bare minimum credits ... Instead of actually doing any work, it's just sitting there with a blank screen But it's used up some of the credits doing nothing wtf

There is this channel on youtube that keeps popping up in my feed, bunch of chinese(?) girls working at a boba tea shop dancing to music while some delivery guy watches and it's completely AI generated The people in the comments have no idea

OpenAI has been screwing around with the Codex app/ui flow & now I'm having trouble opening it on my phone or on my laptop. I use the cloud version but it desperately wants me to use the apps, but then I can't even if I want to because of some 2FA thing it's doing between apps I don't have installed
