Well, it’s been a really quiet autumn at the Tate Modern so I’ve had to resort to looking at gulls 😂 This big fella has been keeping me interested though; current thinking is probable Caspian though bill not very typical. #londonbirds

One of the best things about my local patch by the Tate Modern is that I get to see species which are usually quite skulky extremely well. This juvie Sedge Warbler today was a good example - hopping around just a metre away from me. What cracking birds they are 😍 #londonbirds
Most of the time I see nothing at the Tate, but occasionally we get a good day, and today was one. The lunchtime showers knocked down a few migrants. I initially thought I had a pr of Black Redstart but then realised the female wasn’t a Black…#londonbirds
22 Stonechat on Hampstead Heath this morning. Another big influx this year, like we had in 2022, and getting near to the high count of 24 set then #londonbirds Beautiful morning too!
