I know some of you are frustrated that I’ve been posting about Dr. Anthony Fauci. I understand why. The pandemic was painful, and people have strong feelings about the decisions that were made. Reasonable people can disagree about many of those decisions.

This may be a hot take, but I’ve never been a fan of fireworks. They’re beautiful for a few minutes but the noise can be distressing for pets, wildlife, veterans with PTSD, young children, and many people with sensory sensitivities. I’ll take a great barbecue and good company over fireworks any day.

If this were a patient, I’d be concerned about the shift in thinking. This is not about diagnosing or speculating. Just recognizing a pattern of extreme language, certainty without specifics and apocalyptic framing.

The issue isn’t with spirulina, it’s that the FDA’s job is to regulate safety, not promote “better” ingredients. When regulators start sounding like influencers, it blurs the line between science, policy, and marketing.
