As we prepare to say farewell to July, I instead say good riddance and screw your insane heat waves, please go away and never return. We'll skip from June to August next year. Hell, maybe we'll skip June too since May was already summer temperatures.

Today, coffee-deprived and drowsy me started the day by walking face-first into the glass door to our new kitchen, which my partner had unexpectedly closed. Thankfully nothing broke, but I don't understand why this house even has a glass door to the kitchen, what's wrong with a normal door? DX

Sometimes I wonder if I go too hard on worldbuilding and lorecrafting to make sure all my smut is internally cohesive and makes sense from a plot perspective. But then, I'd imagine my readers like it? You DO like it, right? Please tell me you don't just skip those parts!

I think I'm going to buy a ruler. And then I'm going to smack all of my artist friends on their asses until they upload all their new art to gallery sites like Furaffinity or Sofurry. Nobody 👏 can 👏 find 👏 your 👏 art 👏 on 👏 bluesky👏 discord 👏 or 👏 telegram! Keep an up to date gallery site! Please!

One of the little secrets of the world I discovered very late into adulthood is that extremely tasty instant ramen exists. Like, Buldak or Shin? Mouth-watering stuff compared to the dollar store ramen that punctuated my teenage years and early twenties.

Boycotting most corporations that do things you disapprove of isn't actually hard at all! Sure, I'll give you that Google and Microsoft and almost impossible to avoid between Gmail, Android and you know, Windows... but other companies don't have that same pervasive reach.

A lot of Warframe players are terribly scandalized because of the world's mildest petplay at their yearly cosplay event, featuring a fully clothed robot wolf on all fours. Basically like thinking that a bell pepper is too spicy, or that a 40 C sauna is too hot. Friggin' deal with it.

Since "talent" vs "skill" seems to be trending, here's my take! Talent is just your natural affinity for a skill. If you're very talented, you pick that skill up easily. Without talent, you can still get there (and to the same eventual heights), it just takes more effort.

Unity is one of very few apps I've used where you can do one series of actions and it breaks your project... but then you restore a backup, do that exact series of actions that should work fine, and now your project is indeed fine! Non-deterministic software should be outright illegal.

I posted a story depicting nonconsensual sex. That means that I can't advertise it as much, as opposed to media that features a lot of nonconsensual murder. But you know where to find it if that kind of stuff floats your stoat!

This European heatwave was absolutely bonkers insane. Send your best wishes to us all, especially to everyone in central Europe. It's only June, by the way. I assume in July we'll have a full hell portal opening with demons pouring forth and making scrambled eggs of us all. Thanks, climate change.

Also here's an opinion: if you're going to use trigger/content warnings, you'll have to be more specific than "eye stuff" because I have no idea what "eye stuff" entails. It could be anything from mild discomfort to absolute horror!

Guys, it's not actually hard to boycott a game. Especially not temporarily. I'll do it right now: If I buy GTA 6 before it's at least 50% off on PC, you can tar and feather me and stick me in the stocks for public mockery. Maybe I'll never buy it, honestly. I don't feel like I'd miss out on much.

So you know when vampires transform into a swarm of bats? What happens if one bat gets lost? Does the vampire reappear with like, an ear or a tooth missing? What if the swarm gets split up, do we get two small vampires or two halves of one vampire?

UK politicians argue that social media bans will make kids and teens play with their friends/make more friends IRL, but like, if that had happened when I was a teenager, it would've killed what little social life I had and left me completely alone. Online friends are what kept me alive!

Second Life raising Premium prices again. In this economy. It's like they're actively trying to kill the platform by miking everyone dry. Thank the gods I've kinda emotionally migrated to VRChat already. I wish SL didn't have to die, but that's private equity for you I guess.
