If you're ever like me and you feel like adding unnecessary detail to your sewing project using the world's most tedious sewing techniques...stop. Get help. Don't do this to yourself.

Did a fun little exercise to show Sy in a number of stages of life. He's had a lot of different jobs lol so I added those next to the age he was (roughly) when he had them. His love of gardening started very early! #oc #ocsky #art

A series of bust illustrations of my OC Sy Hawthorne at various stages in life. 7: Sy has shaggy hair about 4 inches long and a cute plump face. He's got a big smile with a couple of his front teeth missing, and is holding up a flower in a clump of dirt. 11: Sy's face has gotten slightly longer and his nose more pronounced. His wavy hair falls to his shoulders and is parted in the middle. His eyebrows are knitted and his chin is wavering and he's looking up tearfully. 14: Sy's chin is squaring out a bit and his high cheekbones beginning to show. His hair is in a messy bowl cut that stops at the middle of his ears, and his bangs fall in front of his face. He a tense expression. 19: Sy's features are sharper and more adult. His long hair falls past his shoulders and is styled wildly, with pieces falling in front of his face. His ears are pierced with safety pins and he's wearing mascara with a bold eyeshadow. He's scowling. Job: "log driver/ lumberjack" 25: Sy's jaw is fuller and more mature, his hair in a long crew cut. His hair is swept to one side with the fringe falling on one side of his face. Job: "Waiter/ food runner" 31: There's a hint of bags under Sy's eyes. His hair is ear length, parted in the center and pushed out of his face. He's grown his sparse facial hair into a neat goatee. He has a confident smile on his face. Job: "factory worker/grocery stock boy" 37: Sy's hair is long again, pulled back into a low ponytail. The bags under his eyes are more prominent, and there's creases appearing on his forehead. His patchy beard is significantly grown out, including a pathetic mustache. His expression reads as somewhat hurt or forlorn. Job: "farm hand/ handyman" 42: Sy as he will be appearing in my game project, with his deep forehead crease, heavy eye bags, fuller jowls, prominent cheekbones, white hairs in his long hair and bangs, and patchy scruffy chin. He's got a slanted grin on that forms creases in his cheeks. Job: "bouncer/ bartender"
