Every time I see a social media post trumpeting Anthropic as some kind of software engineering exemplar, I make a point of commenting thusly. Yes indeed, folks. You too could achieve one 9's reliability.
AI-assisted programming isn't that you sit back and relax. For building a production-ready product, you have to manage iterations, organize requirements, do QA, raise bugs to AI, and review code. You can't just vibe out a serious project without knowing what you're doing.
v1.1 is planned for September, ahead of KanDDDinsky in October. New entries, more essays, and further updates to the theoretical framework. The series keeps going, and so will the book. www.organisationaldysfunctions.com #OpenSystemsTheory #SocioTechnical #OrgDesign

I have just finished the read and can only say that this is relevant to anyone working in Tech nowadays. Strongly recommended!
Most organisations are trying to fix the wrong things. 🎉 Organisational Dysfunctions: Open Systems Theory Explains is out today! Written for developers, architects, agile coaches, and executives who have invested in change and wondered why so little of it stuck.
F# runs natively on .NET, and Fable compiles it to JavaScript, Python, Rust, and the BEAM. Five runtimes, one type-checked source, runs anywhere your stack needs it. BEAM is what Ericsson built to keep phone switches from ever going down. fable.io #fsharp #fablecompiler

An excellent showcase of how great testing tools and good testing looks like in practice!
Last year I gave a talk about some of the testing apis I built into Lustre. If you’ve ever wished there was something better than waiting 30 minutes for playwright test to run in CI… this one’s for you 🤙 youtu.be/k2F-REDMVcM?...

Most 'transformation' fails because it tries to change behaviour without changing constraints. People aren’t resisting; the system is working exactly as designed.

AI stans warn us not to “get left behind”. The reality is the people who really are getting left behind are the ones who think the bottlenecks and blockers they’ve struggled with in the past will magically get out of the way of the code-generating firehose. codemanship.wordpress.com/2026/01/12/t...
