Rev Jesse Jackson viewed the Selma bridge crossing as a vital, symbolic pilgrimage for continuing the struggle for voting rights, racial equality, and democracy. The act was not just a historical reflection but a call to "rebuild the bridge" by addressing social, economic, and political divisions.

Happy Sunday. Let’s pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for this new day. Jesus, I pray for your guidance and protection as I navigate the day. Direct my thoughts, words, and actions, and help me to honor you in all I do. Be with me and help me. Love your neighbor as yourself. Amen.

I’m a Follower of Jesus. His teached love, forgiveness, humility, and serving others. He stressed the importance of loving God and one's neighbor as oneself, forgiving others, and recognizing God's presence in the world. Jesus demonstrated compassion for the poor, the marginalized, and the sick.

Jesus taught to treat others with radical love, empathy & kindness. “Do to others what you would have them do to you" Forgiving, mercy, speaking building words, and recognizing God in all-the needy, children, aged and sick, viewing acts of service to others as serving Him directly.

“The opposite of love is not hate, but indifference," is a famous quote by Holocaust survivor and Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel emphasizing that a lack of care and empathy is more damaging than active hatred, as it allows suffering and injustice to persist, eroding humanity.

Each of us is meant to have a character all our own, to be what no other can exactly be, and do what no other can exactly do. Recognize that and appreciate each other for the value each of bring. Cookie cutter versions of us would be quite boring!

I hope you can send me by sending me $100 or $50 Anything will help. Zelle is best. No fees. No day or two delay. I do have a GoFundMe link but it’s several days delay and there’s a fee you can get around. Sorry to ask. If you can share also, even better. I am desperate but humbly grateful.

I remembered that Jesus taught us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” God will meet our needs today. His grace is available for today. We are not to be anxious about the future, or even tomorrow. His mercies are new every morning and nothing is impossible with God.
