Singer/songwriter, father, grandfather. Lover of vinyl. I’m just an ordinary guy on an extraordinary adventure!
Brittlestar@brittlestar.com · 13h agoThere's an attraction near us called The Scream Shack that operates every October, which is an annual event for one of my daughters and I. This year two of my grandkids tagged along and we had a blast. Scaaaarrry stuff!
Went for a 6.5 km walk this morning. The roads are deserted this time of year and the fall colour's are coming along nicely.
youtube.com/watch?v=g1kZ... With tomorrow being Bandcamp Friday I thought that this might be an EXCELLENT time to reshare my song “Ghost in the Rain” with y’all. 😉

One last spin as I’m having breakfast. (And maybe to ring in the Halloween season?) Now playing “Impera” by Ghost.
Good morning, Blueskyers! It’s kinda rainy here today, but I’m heading back north after breakfast…my chores are done here at home.
Next spin, a Heep double header. Now playing “Sweet Freedom”
2nd glass of wine dovetailing neatly with the second spin. The iconic “Demons and Wizards “ by Uriah Heep.
Hey everyone. It’s been a minute. I’m home now for my weekly yard maintenance and now I’m treating myself to the 3 record live opus, “Yessongs” With a glass of wine, of course. 😁
I havent posted much lately, but to update everyone... I'm currently at a campfire listening to DSOTM. (But quietly. The owls are starting their nightly gig and I dont want to compete with them.
Good morning from Levi Lake as a frustrated Phoebe tries to get a chipmunk to play with her.
Good morning, all. The rain has passed and it’s a sunny day.
Had a fabulous evening, just the missus and I, enjoying the view as night fell. So much so that I forgot to post these pictures. So goodnight, and now...good morning! Lol.
One more spin before heading out. “After the Gold Rush “ by Neil Young.
Good morning, Blueskyers. Another successful trip home. Laundry’s done, grass is cut. Time to head back to the cottage. See you there!
One more album before the ball game. Bad Company’s eponymous debut album. Strangely enough, this is the first time I’d heard of Paul Rogers. This album made me backtrack to “discover” his previous band, Free. A win win for me!
Now playing “Nilsson Schmilson” by Harry Nilsson. Love this album.
I’m home for a night so that means vinyl. And I’ve just learned that Tim Curry passed away. What an absolutely horrible week, first Dolly, now Tim. So I thought it would be appropriate for my first spin tonight to be the soundtrack for the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Doing some meal prep with a glass of wine and listening to “Kind of Blue” by Miles Davis.
