I’m doing the most cliche sadboy shit and turning my divorce papers into poetry. Enjoy, or don’t? I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN THIS. I STILL RESIDE IN THE TIME WE LIVED THE IMPOSSIBLE AS POSSIBILITY BETWEEN US.

Randomly thinking about @leahanelson.bsky.social delivering the greatest compliment and burn I have ever received in a single sentence. “You presented an unusual challenge because of the Faulknerian length and breadth of your speechifying.” 😂😂😂

Psalm 139:13-18, Genesis 35:16-29, and Matthew 12:15-21 felt so timely today. Especially with sermon 23 of Eckhart’s from this book.

Wild how some of the best news I have received in years is also one of the most emotionally devastating things I have been told because of this season of life I have found myself in.

DISENTANGLE dis·en·tan·gle (dĭs′ĕn-tăng′gəl) 1. To extricate from entanglement or involvement; free. 2. To clear up or resolve; unravel. 3. To become free of entanglement

Some days I write nothing. Other times I write a handful of shitty poems in a single day in between doing dishes and playing video games with my children. It all just comes in waves, I guess.

Before I die I want to be able to write a single sentence that is so emotionally devastating that people liken it to Kafka, Dostoevsky, or Bukowski.

I missed the gym for three weeks, but on Tuesday I managed to go. I did legs. I over did legs. I moved a total of 58,650lbs over one hour and let me tell you… two days later and I’m struggling to walk. 😂😭

Is the result of me shoveling for six hours or the first signs of stigmata on the way to my inevitable canonization as a saint? Stay tuned!
