I haven't seen any of Ted Lasso S4 yet, but based on reviews, it might be for the best & looks to be the latest example of comedies not leaving well enough alone. Anchorman 2, Spinal Tap 2, Arrested Development, etc. The track record for comedies returning for another go is abysmal. It never works.

Prefers flip flops, says dude too much, harbors constant fear of losing his keys. Giddyupamerica.com. ME/PHL/NJ.
Fetterman is such a lost cause and his weak sauce argument gets predictably deconstructed by Jon Stewart, who remains one of the best political interviewers out there.
This went a little different than his nightly interviews with Sean Hannity.
I used to think one of the hardest parts about being a parent was not getting ice cream every time your kid did. And sure, that's definitely up there, but it pales in comparison to navigating the drama that comes with your kids & their friends as they get older.
Ok but what if you ask him about that Jerry Garcia movie he was supposed to be doing?

Thinking how great it would be if the Red Sox added one or two impact guys to the team but also thinking about who the owners are
A brilliant film like Memento in the 9 slot shows just how insane Chris’s catalog is!

Still bummed that tonight's Jason Isbell show was cancelled, and it's also weird no one has really said why. I don't think it's low-ticket sales because other shows have been rescheduled. Just kind of odd. And also a bummer. A very unfortunate twofer. savingcountrymusic.com/on-jason-isb...
On Jason Isbell Cancelling Numerous Shows with No Explanation -...
Hopefully everything is okay with Jason Isbell, and especially if it isn't, he deserves our understanding and grace. But it also feels like consumers deserve more leeway and explanation if performers ...

Wife: “You’re going to mow the lawn now?” Me: “Yeah.” Wife: “We need to leave in 10 minutes.” Me: “Yeah I know.”
Christoper Nolan leaving out Ithaca’s legendary zipline is borderline unforgivable
If Hulu/FX/Disney had decided to drop the final season of “The Bear” week to week, we’d currently be enamored & infatuated with the final run of episodes as it neared the end; a run of episodes that each were worthy of a week’s worth of conversation. The show deserved better than to be a binge dump.
Hey, Sublime's legendary self-titled record came out OTD in 1996. Because I'm a sucker for a notable anniversary & also because summer is very much Sublime Season, I ranked the best Sublime songs. giddyupamerica.com/2026/06/15/s...

Between a new album coming out and a couple of notable anniversaries, it felt like a good time to take a look at Sublime’s best songs

i don't believe anyone has "good-faith" concerns about trans women in sports in 2026. there's been too much time to hear the actual evidence, the actual people affected, and the role the debate plays in attempts to purge trans people from American life. anybody picking that side has made a choice
enough of this shit
I'm not saying a new season of "It's Always Sunny" will fix all the problems we're currently facing & make everything better...BUT it'll certainly help, and for that we should be grateful that these lunatics are about to drop their 18th season. youtu.be/0uGkGEwOZs8?...

Sure, looks ominous. But then the sun came out and things worked out pretty well. And now I’m back at work and well, yesterday was cool.

This old dude has just been standing there, watching the waves for over an hour. Whenever he does turn, he’s got a big smile on his face, that special kind of smile reserved for being wonderfully at peace with the world. If I can be in his position down the road, I’ll be a lucky man.
File this one under: Well, That Stinks. Not even rescheduled. Bummer.
Always a hoot talking film & tv w/ @ryanoconnell79.bsky.social - but especially when it’s a celebration of all things Chris Nolan. Wherever you get your pods and get these BEGGARS out of here.

Another great book by @praddenkeefe.bsky.social. A wild story that starts with the death of a young London kid with big dreams and seamlessly rolls into a sordid breakdown of some gnarly characters entrenched in London’s criminal world. Can’t recommend this enough. My guy does it again.
Getting fired up to see Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit on Friday. Always such a great show, and hey, if it could not be 90 degrees or higher, that'd be great. K, thanks. open.spotify.com/playlist/6Cr...

I like that this Phish show reminds me of some of those weird shows I had on tape back in the day and that’s pretty sweet.
