Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is 11x All Star, World Series champ, 4× Gold Glove Award & Braves Hall of Fame Del Crandall. He played for BOS/MIL ‘49-‘63. A superb defender, he threw out 45.44% of the base runners who tried to steal a base on him, ranking in the top 100 all-time.
I’ve seen it in the past. I see it now. I’ll see it in the future. The Lord delivers. Have a good night everyone!
Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is 2x All Star, World Series Champ, & Braves HOF Joe Adcock. He played for MIL from ‘53-‘62. On 7/31/54, he became only the 7th player in MLB history to hit 4 HR in a game. It was against the Brooklyn Dodgers at their home ballpark, Ebbets Field.

Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is World Series Champ Wes Covington. He played for MIL from ‘56-‘61. His defense in the ‘57 World Series was stellar. His 2 breathtaking catches in LF in games 2 & 5 helped preserve victories for MIL. He hit .208 for the series with 6 k’s & stole a base.

Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is All-Star & 2 time World Series champ Don McMahon. He played for MIL from ‘57-‘62. In ‘57 he became the Braves relief pitching ace. In the 1957 World Series, he was in 3 games, pitched 5 innings, stuck out 5 New York Yankees, and didn’t allow a run.
Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is Rylan Bannon. He played for ATL in ‘22. He played in 1 whole game for ATL and 21 games for Gwinnett. He also played for BAL and HOU.
Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is a well worn Howie Bedell. He played for MIL in ‘62. In MLB, Bedell played in 67 games & had 28 hits, 3 RBI & scored 15 runs. He batted .193. 58 of his 67 games played, all 15 of his runs scored, 27 of his 28 hits and 2 of his 3 RBIs were with MIL.

Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is Al Spangler. He played for MIL from ‘59-‘61. He was drafted by the Houston Colt .45s as a premium selection in the 1961 Major League Baseball expansion draft. He drove in the first run in Houston Colt .45s history. He also played for LAA & CHC.
Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is All Star & World Series Champ Felix Mantilla. He played for MIL from ‘56-‘61. He was one of the first Puerto Rican players to reach the major leagues. He started 44 games in the ‘57 championship season , playing SS, 2nd base, 3rd base & OF.
Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is Willy Aybar. He played for ATL in ‘06. On April 18, 2007, Aybar was suspended indefinitely for unknown reasons. His lack of participation caused 3rd baseman Chipper Jones to remark "I didn't even know he was still on the team.”
Today’s #BravesCardoftheDay is 3x All Star, ‘54 AL batting champ and Mexico baseball HOF Bobby Avila. He played for MIL in ‘59. In his first game for MIL, he hit a game winning 2 run HR in the 9th inning. He started 45 games at 2nd base for MIL & hit .238 in 172 AB.
