I’m glad I saw Korra first, because while I understood the criticisms, I was able to enjoy it for what it was. Now that I’ve seen The Last Airbender, a lot of Korra’s story/character flaws feel like carelessness/rushed work from a team that’s wholly capable of doing those things extremely well.
Dragged myself out of bed to go pick up the essentials - filtered water and edibles - so I can commit to not leaving the house for the rest of the week. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

The first time we went to our favorite hibachi place, the owner was fascinated by us being married. Not in a weird way, I think he just hadn’t met a gay married couple before (it wasn’t legal here then). He’s remembered us every time since. Today he gave us our own table and cooked for us himself.
