Oop I thought I posted this. If you wanna see where Shang Qinghua got the audacity to grip up Mobei Jun, read Down the Snake Hole by Aryashi on ao3 ✨️ #svsssbigbang

A digital illustration for a collab event called the Scum Villain Big Bang. It paired artists and writers together so that fanfics could have illustrated scenes. There's two men in a wuxia style Chinese room with paper scattered around. A short brown haired man named Shang Qinghua is grabbing the front of a taller man's robes. The tall man is Mobei Jun, his king that he serves outside of his own sect on Cang Qiong Mountain. He is unbothered by Shang Qinghua's grip as he is weaker than Mobei Jun. Shang Qinghua is stressed out because his friend is in danger, and he's hoping Mobei Jun has info that will help.

For this year's Scumbag Big Bang I got the chance to work with two people, saraSP (artist) and aryashi (writer). These were my initial sketches for the fanfic Down the Snake Hole. I always like fics relating to Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua's old life. It was fun to draw for it 💃

A scanned image of a small sketchbook page spread featuring two characters from the Chinese romance mystery novel, Scumbag Villain's Self Saving System. On the left is Shen Qingqiu, the main character and on the right is Shang Qinghua, a side character. Shen Qingqiu has a fan hiding most of his face. Shang Qinghua has a snake riding on his shoulder. They are versions from a fanfic called Down the Snake Hole by aryashi, featured on the website Archive of our Own.

Is it Sunday anymore? No but I don't care, here's my hourlies lol. I was slow at editing. #hourlycomicday

Hourly comic day written in black in a pointy ended font, laid over top three rows of 2026 in pink and the same font. The black text is a paper cut out taped onto the pink background.

A seven panel comic detailing my day on hourly comic day, February 8th. 1st panel, me the artist, cutting a piece of paper for the title slide at 1am. I have a turtleneck and a pony tail. 2nd panel, me sleeping at 2am, waking up at 7am and not liking this fact. 3rd panel, me feeding my cat food in her tall bowl. She is 23 years old and stands funny now with her paws pointing inwards. 4th panel, me sleeping face down, waking up again at 9am as my brother opens the door. Light shines on my face of the dark room. 5th panel, he pokes his head in and asks if we are getting groceries today but I say no, as it is -20°F outside. 6th panel, me online shopping in bed from 10am to noon. My arms hang off the side and dangle the phone. Last panel, me looking up and realizing that it's hourly comic day and that I shouldn't bed rot.
