There is an amazing full motion rally sim rig in a cafe near Himos Resort at the end of Rally Finland. I usually don't find that rally sims feel good to me but this one felt super spot on. Spent a good hour or two there. As long as WestJet doesn't cancel my flight home, this'll be a perfect week.

Current status: they are blaring 90s Eurodance next door to the Toyota team as they wrench on cars. Kind of works tho

Kaaos Festival is an interesting vibe. Small metal festival on the west coast of Finland, super relaxed and the friendliest people I think I’ve encountered at something like this to date. Just need the rain to hold off a bit longer lol

Getting my passport renewed and wow did they get the absolute worst photo of me possible Granted I don't *expect* a good photo for this but it turned out uniquely bad, lol

Some YT video saying "the most dangerous road in Japan" I click through and it's just a standard mountain road in Wakayama I hate YT culture

Passing back through Columbus on the way out of SOFR and we remembered that the cartoon and comics museum has the only US exhibition of Chris Ware’s works. Been shown around Europe for a bit now but love his stuff so this was a great cap off to the weekend.

4th in L2WD at Southern Ohio Forest Rally. Couple of things went our way and picked up steam on day 2 after spending day 1 revisiting the crash from last year in my head on every stage. Wish we could've pushed for higher but decent enough given the circumstances. Congrats to all who podium'd!

It's very irksome to see Musk claim that Twitter is the #1 social network in Japan, because he does so without any acknowledgement that Twitter has been that way in Japan for coming up on ~2 decades. The history of the platform there is a unique story and it's not big because of him buying it.
