Getting woken up for a severe flash flood alert and realizing that your basement is, in fact, flooding and your sump pump is struggling with the amount of water pouring in at 5am..is an experience

I have a telehealth appointment with my rheumatologist at the crack of dawn, some of my test results still haven't come in, my thyroid is swollen, and I'm trying to feel better about all of it by doodling. Failing spectacularly at it btw but at least Kimetz is handsome.

I think I'm gonna turn Reaper into an actual specialization for the DA ttrpg because if Lily dies I'll still need to tank and half the warriors specializations feel the same :/

Half the pictures on any of my phones are pictures of me cuddled up with Mimi on the couch, because she was never not attached to my hip. She was a good girl and the best cat. Anyway, here she is with a baby Cricket

lrp My name is modified. Like, yeah, I go by Jules because it's more neutral but Julian is the one I chose for myself ages ago. Tbh I didn't know a transman who didn't use a modified version of their deadname until I started poking around online communities.

Fushigi Yûgi is the only reason I'm not a furry because Sonic was my life before I hyperfixated on Yuu Watase's work. I rented the Sonic movie from Hastings for so long that they just gave it to me.

Watching a lets play of MGS1 and remembering stumbling across my mom playing it on the small crtv she kept in her room when I was young. She always seemed embarrassed when she was caught playing video games, like it somehow made her lazy.

I've lived in Columbus for over a decade and just recently tried Tim Hortons for the first time. Big fan of their tea. The half and half with sweet tea and lemonade is very nice.

Rorie bringing dad energy to the Veilguard team is funny to me. I understand most of the companions range from early 20s to mid 30s, and Ro is technically younger than Emmrich. But he's spent the last six years of his life raising his daughter and dealing with immature Tevinter politicians.

Y'know what? I don't actually care if it was a derecho or straight-line winds or anything else that isn't a tornado. I'm still gonna need Columbus to use some kinda siren for when freak ass weather happens because this is probably gonna be the norm going forward.

I hate that I've gone from someone who was dying of heart failure, too sick to go grocery shopping without passing out. To feeling normal for a decade, able to go on hours long hikes. Back to someone who gets dizzy while cooking and is too weak to push themselves up off the floor or drain pasta.

Half tempted to rewrite veilguard with my inquisitor to see if I'd enjoy it more. Make Cahiral in the inky in southern Thedas because they're technically dual inquisitors anyway.
