so, I just enabled dev mode for my computer (requires a factory reset), forcing me to reinstall krita. this was meant to take 30 minutes, tops. it took 3 hours. apparently, dev mode messes with the native version of FUSE on crostini. it's fixed now, but what a headache

Eigrik was raised in the neutral northeast region of the tenth ring of Hiojentam1. Eigrik was the second of Weivic Lyne's eight children, his father, Desil Etul, left when he was five years old. At age sixteen, Eigrik transitioned from female to male via an arcane practitioner, as paid for with his own money. He's always been an overachiever, being a star student from year one to year fifteen and graduating at the top of the Jack track with an Illusor minor from the Berriwyn School of Tertiary Workers2. As his quaternary school, Eigrik went to the UPBMP3, given that he could not afford any of the other schools, regardless of any grants afforded to him. Additionally, he was offered a package, which would be forwarded to his family, should he sign onto the military.

During training, Eigrik experienced extreme abuse, physical and mental4, from other recruits; this was encouraged by superiors due to his transition earlier in life. He was placed into a division for the 'impure' or 'disorderly' trainees5, where, rather than his peers being the source of his mistreatment, it was his superiors directly. Zew was added into his division during his second year and the two confided in each other due to their similar treatment. At the start of Eigrik's third year his division was deployed; they were tasked with neutralising a swvvn6 outbreak below the Median7 between Hiojentam and Yeirjitch8. The mission was effectively doomed from the start, undergeared, little-to-no brief on what swvvn is, and many of them had only been training for a year at most. I love Krita, HOWEVER, the text tool is unreasonably buggy, even after the update where they overhauled it. Sometimes, when you select the text editor, the entire program crashes. This is a really unfortunate hurdle, as someone who is making a comic.
