If it helps, my late boss, Chief Judge Martin left the Court briefly. He told his clerks he frequently found himself cursing his past self for treachery against his present self

Greg Doucette@gregdoucette.bsky.social · 7mo agoJust got a reasonably convincing scam call from someone purporting to be with the Durham County Sheriff's Office, alleging I missed federal jury duty and a bench warrant had been issued for my arrest Guy had me almost worried for a solid 2-3 minutes They even did up a fake warrant to text me!
A venue statute for delivery rooms: be a citizen, pay taxes, pass the bar, and still get bounced because your birth certificate has the wrong zip code.
