I dislike writing monthly reports. I have the type of job that if my work isn't done (and done right), you'll know. And EVERYONE else will know. Why I need to write a thing highlighting what I accomplished every month beyond "shit's working and I helped keep it working", I don't know. 😅
Finished up an Assassin and a Highlander for ComStar. Only negative is that I tried to paint the canopies green. Came out *way* too dark. But the ComStar force continues to grow for that eventual AlphaStrike Tukayyid demo day I want to do at my LGS with my buddy. #Battletech #AlphaStrike
🥳🎊 I now have *a* victory in Classic #Battletech under my belt. I am no longer with a big ole goose egg in the victory column. I got a lucky PPC headshot in early on, making it 6 mechs to 4 and my fast movers kept harassing my buddy's mechs with the hippity hoppity get off my property approach. 😅

Com Guards force is coming along nicely. Exterminator and Ostsol mechs. Only thing is the variant the mini represents for the Ostsol is incorrect for ComStar. Honestly, that doesn't bother me at all as I just make sure to have the right variant's info up when I use it. #Battletech #AlphaStrike

Went for a hike today and decided to bring my DSLR. Managed to get a nice picture of a turkey vulture (managed to catch it in flight even!) and a few nice pictures of bees in action.

Some reinforcements for my Clan Jade Falcon Epsilon Galaxy second-line forces for #Battletech! Of note here are the Archer C 2 and Hoplite 5C, which would have been obtained when the Falcons captured the factories on Arc-Royal in 3146.
One big thing I hate about the horrible heat: It completely saps me of any motivation to write or to paint minis.

I somehow managed to win my first ever game of #AlphaStrike tonight! 300 point fight of Rasalhague Dominion Tau Galaxy against Jade Falcon Epsilon Galaxy. Gotta say, that I was surprised that the Hammerhead somehow survived all 7 turns. That's a spunky mech.
