I envy you. We pay 2,43€ per Liter. That makes 9,20€ per gallon! We're glad to be both retired and don't have to drive to work on a daily basis. Thank God we have everything from grocery stores to the doctor's office close enough to reach it by e-bike.

It may not be lost on you due to my profile that we spent a few years in God's own country. Our neighbors welcomed us,were friendly,even when we were strangers. Nowadays, immigrants are hunted down. What has changed since the Reagan-Years? We've been over there for visits,but sadly,won't come back.
I'm not too much worried about age because our first Chancellor, Adenauer,was in office until the age of 87. But he still had all his marbles and was in no way social incompetent like Trump. And for the self-aggrandizement: We were raised that "Eigenlob stinkt"!
