Thinking again about how I feel like many a fujo act like their ~blorbo~ is the one guy somehow exempt from sexism and male socialization. Or that anything remotely sexist, heteronormative, or even masculine in a benign way that he does is just because he was repressing his feminine gay spirit.
I saw someone tag a dark fic with "dead dove: do not eat" but then also "this is not smut or romance". And hmm, I guess I always saw the dd tag as not just meaning "contains dark/taboo themes" but specifically "contains dark/taboo themes *without* criticism, deconstruction, condemnation etc."

Sorry I haven't been posting here much lately, I went to a conference abroad and have been with family.
Was looking through the "Kaminari Denki & Mineta Minoru" AO3 tag and saw multiple fics where Mineta was being homophobic towards Kaminari. So many ways one can slander the grape and yet people pick the one that's directly contradicted by official media 🙄

I need to clarify—I am happy Todo is alive and well in Modulo and got to marry his waifu because that's better than what most of the cast got. But it doesn't compel me from a fic writer standpoint since she's basically a joke character removed from everyone else.
Going to be vulnerable again and admit that M*dulo sorta killed my will to write JJK fics. Tragically I can be a stickler for canon compliance and alas one of my faves is married to a joke character and the other's fate leaves a depressing shadow looming over any shipping content.
There's a few strong contenders but I'm going with this one
