Farage isn't campaigning for a GE next month. He’s playing the long game. A splashy headline during a quiet news month generates free publicity, rallies his core voter base, shifts media attention away from his party's bad press and ensures that immigration remains the headline topic on his terms.

Thinking of a career in the Royal Marines? Sign up now and if Reform win the next election you could be patrolling the Channel on a new and expensive top of the range destroyer, to pick up refugees and drop them off on a beach in France.

The Farage Fan Club has been programmed to say, “well they all do that don’t they” when asked about the £5m “gift”. It’s like Trump and his claim that he could shoot someone dead or grab women’s privates, and they will still vote for him. And they will. It’s like they’ve been hypnotised!

Under standard UK political betting rules, ante-post bets placed on a party that ultimately chooses not to field a candidate are typically settled as losers (or "all in, run or not"), unless the bookmaker explicitly offers "non-runner, no bet" terms. (I don’t understand it either!)

Many people including myself are hoping beyond hope that Farage will get trounced in Clacton. Yeah right! The bookies have him so far in front he’s a racing certainty to win and they’re rarely wrong are they? Farage is at 1/20 to 1/16, Labour at 16/1, Count Binface at 18/1. Sorry!

Talking of millionaires, Dyson, the hand dryer guy left the UK and set up in Malaysia. This year, Dyson settled a legal case bought by 24 migrant workers who described being threatened and beaten, having their passports withheld, and being forced to work long hours in unsanitary conditions.

“The M25 is slow due to a breakdown”. Of course it is. There’s no hard shoulder now so there’s no where for emergency breakdowns to go. The traffic stops, breakdown services and ambulances can’t get through. Whose friggin idea was it to remove the hard shoulder? Maybe Andy should reinstate them!

I am reminded of the five questions Tony Benn said we should ask of our politicians; 1. What power have you got? 2. Where did you get it from? 3. In whose interests do you exercise it? 4. To whom are you accountable? 5. And how can we get rid of you? In answer to number 5. vote Bin Face!

"Dicey" means unpredictable, risky, uncertain, or potentially dangerous. When something is described as dicey, it implies you are taking a chance where the outcome could easily turn out poorly—much like rolling a die. Friends, I give you, Richard “Dicey”Tice.

Farage on GBNews today spouting more tosh. Don’t panic, I don’t watch it, I saw this on Youtube. Thing is, how is he allowed to have a slot on GBNews without GBNews featuring Count BinFace? We’re in purdah aren’t we?

Burnham at his desk today wondering wether to go with the Bristol Channel and Swansea Bay Tidal Lagoon project that will generate green energy for millions of households or continue with HS2 to link Birmingham to Manchester for the benefit of…, well hardly anyone really. Oh the agony of choice!
