Adell is the first Cleveland trade in a while that I haven’t talked myself into quickly (I’m sure I still will by the end of the day), which obviously means it will be a slam dunk.
Look, I know I said “moderate trade”, so I can’t really complain. But given this lineup’s shortcomings, I’m not sure a league average OF can be the only thing they do. Like, I’ll take it but there should be more.
If this team doesn’t swing a moderate trade for a bat at the very least, I think I’m out for a while.
Offense sucks, pitching is solid, tale as old as time. But I think it also feels like this has easily been Vogt’s worst season as manager from a roster management perspective. New lineup every night, leaving pitchers in too long, bullpen mismanagement, etc.
Really struggling to decide if I want this Guards FO to add a couple pieces to go after this awful division/league or if I’m as over this team as I was of the ‘23 team and just ready to move on to football season. Leaning football season.
I’m just dreaming, I know, but I wonder what it would take to pry mason miller from SD. He and Cade in the 8th and 9th would be delicious.

All joking aside, I think DeLauter and Cade are the only players I even kind of trust on this roster right now. Maybe Rocchio a little bit.
I am so sick of watching bad offense. This organization needs a complete overhaul of their offensive staff/development/approach, all of it.
Insane how quickly the vibes fell off the face of the earth for this Guards team.
