Working on solutions as big as the problems we face.

Either the AI bubble will pop, which will create a Great Depression-level market crash. Or the AI valuations will be justified, which only works if AI replaces a huge number of workers and we get massive unemployment. Either way, we are headed towards a monumental crisis.

I chatted with Gabriel Zucman about why we’ve got to vote YES on Prop 40 and the stakes of this proposition. The world is watching, and we have a chance to make a statement right here in California. Vote YES on Prop 40 Vote NO on Props 41 & 42

Everyone arguing against the RTM tax fails to mention the inconvenient (for them) fact that BART relies MUCH LESS on taxes than pretty much any transit system in the country. 20-30% of BART is paid by taxes. 70-80% of NY Subway is paid by taxes.

BART and Muni are both facing deficits of over $300 million, and if we don't fund our public transit, both are facing severe service cuts. Vote YES on the Regional Transit Measure to keep our public transit running.

The poorest billionaire in California will make about $300 million this year. If we pass the CA wealth tax, he will only make $235 million. In exchange, millions of the poorest Californians will get health insurance. That's the tradeoff billionaires are not willing to make.

This op-ed from Katie Porter against the California wealth tax is so cynical, it's hard to imagine she believes a single word of it. She is saying that since Prop 40 doesn't fix every issue in our healthcare system, you should vote no. But the point of Prop 40 is to plug the gap Trump created!

I'm excited to endorse Eric Jones for Congress, because unlike the incumbent in California's District 4, Eric actually wants to invest in housing, healthcare and education here instead of spending trillions on endless wars abroad. If you're in CA-4, vote Eric Jones on November 3rd.

Join us this Thursday for a volunteer thank you party to celebrate what we've accomplished together—and to look ahead at what's still to come. 📆 Thursday, July 16th ⏰ 7pm 📍800 Irving St.

In addition to Connie Chan in SF, these are candidates I am supporting across the country, and they deserve your support too! Imagine if we got a bloc of progressives this large elected. Chris Rabb Claire Valdez Darializa Avila Chevalier Melat Kiros Cori Bush Analilia Mejia Brian Poindexter

I'm proud to back Connie Chan for Congress to represent San Francisco and plan to do everything I can to help her win. She is the only candidate in this race who takes no corporate money, who supports a wealth tax on billionaires, and who will vote to end all military aid to Israel.

A lot of Democrats talk about fighting Trump. Many tweet out against him, post memes, or call him names. But Thomas Massie & my Epstein Transparency Act is by far the most effective action in taking Trump on and breaking his coalition since he walked down the escalator. Even JD Vance admits that.

The campaign has ended, but the mission remains. We must wrest control of our country away from the corporations and back into the hands of people is still ahead of us. And the only force capable of doing that is a movement of people unlike any we have seen in generations.

The most beautiful part of this campaign is the places you end up — from line dancing with the youth to dancing with aunties. Election day has been so fun, but the campaign is far from over. Make sure to vote before 8 PM tonight!

No matter what the result is tonight, I’m so proud of what we’ve built together. Being a part of a team like this is really a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I’m never going to forget it. Looking forward to continuing this fight with you all, to November and beyond.

Over 500 volunteers showed up at 6 AM this morning to get the vote out. In 2 hours, we put up over 20,000 door stickers to remind people to vote. Over the last year, we've built the largest field campaign in San Francisco history, and it's beautiful to see it in action today.

Somehow our representatives never question how we fund a genocide in Gaza, but the moment we bring up universal healthcare or childcare, suddenly there's no money. In Congress, I'll call out that hypocrisy and vote for what the people actually need — because I'm not bought by foreign lobbyists.
