Hi, I'm Em, a freelance artist in the Pacific Northwest region of the US. My main artistic focuses are soulsborne (dark souls, elden ring etc), berserk, and other video games. JJ LaBelle is a freelance illustrator, and a dedicated fan of the Dragon Age games. When he isn’t tabling at conventions or working on commissions, he happily spends his free time replaying his favorite games from the series and delving into the world of Thedas. As an unapologetic Grey Warden enthusiast, JJ is very excited to bring his love for the faction to this project and can’t wait to share the merchandise he is creating for this zine!

How did you get into Dragon Age?

Believe it or not, I discovered the franchise a few years after Inquisition’s release through a YouTube video titled “Complete Iron Bull Romance.” I watched the entire thing completely engrossed in the story surrounding the romance as well as the romance itself and went out to buy Inquisition the next day. Since then I have played every game, including Veilguard, multiple times. I’m completely hooked.

Who is your favorite Warden?

Antoine and Evka Ivo. I refuse to separate them. Bonded pair.
